Day 23: Upcoming Calendar Summary

Midweek Check In – Wednesday, May 1

For the rest of the week, we have a cool wine and cheese day followed by the dreaded fasting sobriety corner of the lunar calendar.  lol.  

Today is a funky, quirky kind of day.  It’s like a concentrated Mercury in Retrograde in one day kind of thing.  lol.  Astrology joke.  Best to be a hermit if you can. Be aware of your environment when you go out.  Good advice almost any day. Pick one or several of the following to overcome any negativity hanging around:

  • Practice liver detoxing, and/or
  • some kind of fasting (cut something you normally do out), or
  • Cut the carbs back and focus on easy to digest food, or
  • moderately exercise:  add strength training or cardio to your Qigong Warms.
  • Give the house a good clutter clean up and maybe a smudging.

Upcoming, tomorrow, Thurs, is Wine and Cheese, high carb, Eating for the Colors day!  Check out the benefits of  CULTURED DAIRY and consider adding it to your diet tomorrow.

Friday, is the same as Thurs, but it’s Turtle Day, so you’re suppose to do everything Tai Chi like.  Leave early, take your time.  If you do eat today, unplug and just focus on your food and chewing.  And Breathing.  And being SLOW.  Chill out Friday alert.

Saturday is day 6 of our 10 day Liver Detox. 

  • It’s an intermittent fasting day.  
  • If eating, it’s a low carb day. 30-50g
  • Pescatarian & Gluten Free Diet for non fasters. 
  • Eat some fish on Saturday!
    • SMASH = (Salmon, Mackerel, Anchovies, Sardines, Herring)
  • Avoid fried foods, vegetable oils, beans, bread and round veggies <- read.
  • (eat long veggies instead)

Fair warning:  

  • Sunday is a sobriety day.  No booze. 
  • Mon & Tues is Juice Cleanse Day.  
  • Over the Weekend, stop by a local juicing café and get some green veggie, and antioxidant fruit juices to prepare.
  • Tuesday is the New Moon – an opportunity for a fresh start.
  • Next Wednesday is an odd Day 30 – You can do whatever you like that day.  So if you’re struggling with reducing or giving up something on limitation days, next Wednesday is coming!!  You can make it!!  Plan in advance having some fun and doing whatever you like next Wednesday.  (The next one is July 6, 2024 in case you’re thinking of something really wild and crazy!)
